Coming from fitness industry I was a man of patterns and restrictions towards my teachings but still I always kept a goal in mind to teach and take my clients towards self reliance which was basically an impression of changing one's lifestyle, but that was kind of had a half effect work ,as changing mind set is a completely different story its more of a hit or miss situation,some follow some do not. 
Yoga taught me that changing and not changing is also a path from which you can achieve the state of YOG which is our ultimate goal in life (contradicts my previous believe system to a higher level of realization)
 I know it sounds kind of melodramatic but hear me out
 It works! ,
                  its just the matter of how open towards acceptance you are ,not saying you should keep blind faith ,its something you can only trust when you experience it yourself...
you can say it works on the overall aspect of well being and I can show how. 
I am a naive person, I want everyone to be in a state of yog and after Known it myself, it made things even obvious about the importance and teaching someone so they can live to even better fulfilment I can say that its,
"The best way to put an impact".
